Please note, when reading your Ancestry report you are able to dive deeper by clicking the on the down arrow next to the names of continents and regions.
Why do we report on regions alone?
In our reporting, the population clusters are meant to reflect regions rather than geopolitical borders, as some areas had a high rate of migration and admixture (Europe is a good example of this). Today, our nationalities are often distinctive cultural groups but have common regional genetics. Because of this, the Ancestry results will correspond with a region rather than a nationality.
